Advantage playing IGT’s “Golden Egypt Grand”

Golden Egypt Grand: A spin-off of the most well-known advantage play slot machine around.

Hello again. It’s been awhile. Let’s get straight to another advantage play machine. Like a successful movie or television show, slot manufacturers have often created spin-offs of proven money makers. Over the years there have been multiple variations of Wheel of Fortune, Quick Hit & Buffalo slot machines.

IGT has done this with the ever popular Golden Egypt by introducing Golden Egypt Grand. And this really comes as no surprise when seeing how popular Golden Egypt is. It has been around for a few years now & casinos are often refreshing their slot offerings, yet in many of the markets that I’ve visited Golden Egypt has remained a constant. There appear to be more GE machines today than ever.

Golden Egypt Grand plays much in the same way as the original with all of the same familiar characters. Collect coins to turn the reels wild. Unlike the original where each reel needed two coins to become wild, Golden Egypt Grand goes with a 2-3-4-3-2 format. Therefore, reel 3 when filled will be wild for the next four spins. It’s really the only thing that differentiates itself from Golden Egypt.

Reel 1 wild for the next two spins. Reel 3 wild for the next four.

The consensus among slot hustlers is to play GE Grand like the original Golden Egypt. Meaning you have an advantage play opportunity when at least 2 of the first three reels are one coin away from becoming wild. It may be tempting to have reel three wild for four spins but don’t fall into the trap of chasing one with three coins without supporting coins on reels 1 & 2. And of course as always, be sure to search through all available bets & denoms(if multi-denominational) for playable opportunities.

Great hit on a nickel denomination play.
