Cash Eruption is a slot machine by Spielo that has been around for many years now. A Google search appears to show that it goes as far back as 2010 where it was on display at the Global Gaming Expo(G2E). The gimmick with Cash Eruption was that after a spin a player could randomly trigger one of the bonus features such as the Rumble Bonus, Boulder Bonus, Lava Spins or Volcano Bonus(Progressive bonus).
As an advantage slot player I’m only interested in the progressive bonus. There are three progressives called Hot, Hotter & Hottest. The 1st two have comparably fast meters to those of other progressives. It’s been awhile but I believe a penny of meter movement is approximately 60 cents & $1 respectively for the Hot & Hotter progressives.
Fast meters on their own would make Cash Eruption an attractive machine to advantage play. In addition to the quick meter movement, whenever a progressive would hit there was a chance to trigger the “multiplier bonus” which would give the player a chance to multiply their progressive win by up to 5x. On Cash Eruption players have a choice of playing one of 4 games. Hustlers have noticed what many have referred to as a “glitch” where one of the two lower progressives can be triggered immediately by cycling through the four games. What I mean by cycling is giving each of the four games one spin at minimum bet.
How do I advantage play & “beat” Cash Eruption?
You’re likely to play or test for the so-called glitch under one of three situations. First is a journey into the unknown when approaching an unoccupied Cash Eruption that doesn’t appear to have any playable numbers. You can still check if one of the progressives is ready to go by cycling through each of the four games. Bet a single spin on each at minimum bet. Your total investment will be $2. Walk away after.
The second situation you’ll find yourself in with Cash Eruption is observing a customer who plays for an extended period of time without triggering a progressive, never switch games & leaves. It’d be worth it to cycle through the other games.
The third is the most obvious. One or more of the progressives is at a playable number. Play it until it/they trigger. You may have a favorite of the four games, just make sure to cycle through the other games periodically.
