SuperStreak By Colossal Gaming. A Not So Common Advantage Slot Machine of The Past?

SuperStreak was a misunderstood yet strong advantage play slot machine of the early 2010s

Going back to machines of the past once again. Super Streak was a slot machine created by Colossal Gaming. If the game doesn’t sound familiar it’s because Super Streak was not widely available in many casinos. Googling “Super Streak slot machine” or some variant yields results unrelated to the machine I’ll be discussing. I couldn’t even find any images of Super Streak or Youtube videos.

If Colossal Gaming doesn’t sound familiar, well they were a relatively small gaming manufacturer that wasn’t around for too long & were acquired by AGS in 2014. Yes, that AGS of the must-hit-by progressives that just about always run to the end. True to their name, Colossal machines were known for being well, colossal in size & their influence can still be seen today in AGS machines such as “Colossal Diamonds.”

Few machines were as physically large as SuperStreak

Moseying on back to Super Streak. As far as I know there was a 25 cent & a multidenom(5c,10c,25c) version of the machine. The idea behind it was that if a player were to get a winning spin, the multiplier for any pays would go up by one for up to the next two spins. Continued winning spins would build the multiplier up to as high as 5x. On the flipside losing spins would bring the multiplier down until it reached its 1x base. Being fortunate enough to keep the “streak” going for many spins above 1x was often very rewarding for players & hustlers alike.

It was one of those machines where even when an advantage would present itself you would lose on the majority of plays. Because of this a significant portion of hustlers completely ignored it. Combined with the scarcity of the game which prevented word of the game spreading & the hustlers who did know how to properly play Super Streak were the ones who made really good money off of it.

How do I advantage play & “beat” Super Streak?

A SuperStreak advantage play that I found on an old phone from several years ago

It’s really simple actually. Anything other than a 1x multiplier on Super Streak is a play. The end. Conservative hustlers would often avoid playing 2x’s. A good amount of players abandoned 2x’s & avoiding them cost hustlers a lot in potential earnings.

I’m not sure if Super Streak is still around anywhere to be honest. The last time I saw one was travelling through California over a year ago. If it is still out there somewhere, hopefully someone who reads this post can make some money off of it.
